Disability Advocacy

Disability advocacy involves supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities to stand up for their rights, access services, and participate fully in society. Advocates work to ensure people with disabilities have a voice in decisions affecting their lives, including accessing healthcare, education, employment, and social opportunities. This can involve providing information, representing individuals in discussions or complaints, and challenging discrimination. Disability advocacy also promotes awareness and policy changes that create more inclusive and accessible communities.
