Counselling for NDIS Participants
Our friendly and professional counselling services are specifically tailored for individuals with a NDIS plan. With extensive experience in supporting the unique needs of both children and adults, we provide compassionate care to help you manage challenges related to isolation, loneliness, stress, trauma, or other mental health concerns.
If you have an NDIS plan, we will collaborate with you to better cope with daily stresses and difficulties, ultimately improving your overall quality of life.
How NDIS Counselling Can Help You
At times, you may experience feelings of anxiety, fear, frustration, or sadness, and it can be difficult to even acknowledge those emotions. Our caring therapists are here to support you in working through these challenges, helping you feel less overwhelmed and more in control of your emotions and circumstances.
Who is Counselling For
Our counsellors have expertise in working with the complex needs of both children and adults. You can access our NDIS registered counselling services if you:
-Are aged 10 years or older
-Have Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living) services included in your approved NDIS plan
Cost of NDIS Counselling Services
Our NDIS counselling services are covered under Capacity Building (CB Daily Activity) in your NDIS plan, meaning there should be no out-of-pocket expenses if these supports are included in your plan. We follow pricing in line with the NDIS price guide.
What to Expect from an NDIS Counsellor
Your first session will include an initial appointment where we’ll conduct an informal or formal assessment to better understand your needs. We use a range of therapeutic models tailored to suit your individual situation. Some individuals may only need a few sessions, while others may require ongoing support. Sessions typically last for an hour and are scheduled once or twice a fortnight, depending on your needs.
